The Actor

A quiet obsession of mine is writing, and even more, reading. My newest homework assignment is from one of my favorite vicarious mentors, Don Miguel Ruiz. This one is called, “The Actor”.

I realize how busy life can get, and that sitting down and giving yourself the permission to read doesn’t seem to present itself often. What I have learned is that it is worth it, no matter how micro the time may be.

”With the wisdom that comes from experience, you will become more confident. With confidence, you’ll be more willing to take chances and to speak for yourself. If inhibitions from childhood still plague you as an adult you’re not keeping up with your own evolution.”
